IMG_9669Print and Fashion Designer Elizabeth-Yemi Akingbade founded Yemzi™ in 2013 with a small range of printed t-shirts on graduation from the prestigious University of The Arts London. The following year she began to master pattern-cutting and garment construction which equipped her with the necessary skills to launch a self-funded fashion venture.

At home in East London or on her many travels Elizabeth aims to sketches and paints to inform her bold yet intricate designs that are consciously influenced by her English upbringing in the seaside town of Bournemouth, hybridised with her Nigerian roots.

Yemzi then flourished under the Enterprise Bootcamp and since then has been based in a shipping container in the Bee Garden.
