Are cities made for women?
This compelling documentary originated from a crowdfunding campaign that encouraged Brazilian women to share their experiences of harassment in public spaces and how this affects their sense of safety and autonomy when experiencing life in their cities. This will be the first screening from Cine Brazil, a project that aims to bring the diversity and creativity of Brazilian independent cinema to London.
⚡️ 70% of the money raised will go to LAWA (Latin American Women's Aid), an organisation that runs the only two refuges in Europe by and for Latin American women and children fleeing gender based violence.
💰 Entrance is £3 for concessions, £5 for standard and £7 if you feel like contributing more to the cause! Find out more.
‘Water, Weather, Wonder’ is an exhibition by Dorit Braun, inspired by visits to the English coast, and her love for the sea. The paintings explore the way the weather affects colour, form and movement. You can read more about Dorit and her work here. Join us for the private view on Thursday 5th September from 6pm to 9pm at the Print House Gallery to celebrate the end of the exhibition. Hope to see you there!
